These are the full terms for the "Win a Free Website" prize draw. The short version is on the competition page. If anything here is unclear, just ask.
1. The promoter
The promoter is Arctane Digital (UK) Limited, a web design studio run from Market Deeping, Lincolnshire. Registered in England and Wales, company number 12584170. Registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 7DE. Contact: hello@arctanedigital.co.uk.
2. Free entry
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. One entry per business. If a business enters more than once, only the first entry counts.
3. Who can enter
The draw is open to businesses and sole traders trading within approximately 7.5 miles of Market Deeping. That includes Market Deeping, Deeping St James, Deeping Gate, West Deeping, Frognall, Northborough, Maxey, Glinton, Peakirk, Baston, Langtoft, Thurlby, Bourne, Stamford, Tallington, Uffington, Barnack, Helpston and Crowland.
Entrants must be 18 or over. Employees of Arctane Digital and their immediate family may not enter. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify entries that don't meet these terms.
4. The entry window
Entries open on 7 August 2026 and close at 23:59 on 4 September 2026. Entries are accepted only through the form at arctanedigital.co.uk/competition. Entries made any other way, or outside the window, won't be counted.
5. The prize
The winning business gets:
- A bespoke website of up to 5 pages, designed and built from scratch by Ethan Copping. The prize covers up to £250 of work, which is around 10 hours across communications, design, development and hosting deployment.
- The first year of website hosting free. After the first year, hosting continues at the standard published rate, currently from £25/month. There is no contract and the winner can cancel at any time.
- Full ownership of the finished website.
What the prize doesn't cover:
- A domain name. The winner can use a domain they already own, or Arctane can register one for them at £30/year.
- Work beyond the 5-page or £250 cap. Anything extra is quoted separately at our standard published rates, and only ever with the winner's agreement first.
There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable. The winner needs to provide content (text, images, business details) and reasonable cooperation so the site can actually be built. If the build hasn't started within 90 days of the draw because the winner hasn't engaged, the prize is forfeit and may be redrawn.
6. Charity donation
Arctane Digital will donate £250 to a UK registered charity of the winner's choice, paid directly to the charity.
7. The runner-up offer
Every eligible entrant who doesn't win receives 25% off the build cost of a website with Arctane Digital, any size of project, valid for 60 days from the draw date. Letting entrants know about this offer is part of administering the promotion, so everyone who enters will receive that one email whether or not they opted into marketing.
8. The draw
The winner is selected at random from all eligible entries within 7 days of the closing date, using a verifiable random method overseen by an independent person. The winner is notified by email and phone within 7 days of the draw. If the winner doesn't respond within 14 days of that notification, we may draw a replacement winner.
9. Publicity
The winner's business name and town will be announced on this website and on Arctane Digital's social channels. The winner's surname and county are available on request, as required by the ASA. If you win and would rather not have details published, contact us and we'll accommodate that where we can; we may still need to share minimal details with the Advertising Standards Authority if required. Arctane Digital may feature the finished website in its portfolio.
10. Your data
Entry data is used to run the competition: verifying eligibility, running the draw, contacting the winner, and sending the runner-up offer. Marketing beyond that happens only with your consent, given by the separate tickbox on the entry form, and you can withdraw it at any time. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
11. General
The promoter's decision is final. We may amend or withdraw the promotion if circumstances outside our control make that necessary. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
