Shakie Jakes

The Backstory

Right at the heart of St Neots Town Center, Shakie Jakes is a bright and funky milk shake and smoothie bar, where kids can still be kids, parents can relax, and you can enjoy a wide range of delicious and indulgent drinks and snacks. This website was a new development, we worked with the Client to produce a clean, responsive website that fitted their needs. This was completed over a short timescale and was released through our Hosting Platform and the WordPress Content Management System.

Our Approach

As part of the development of this website, we upscaled and cleaned up their branding so it was usable in an online medium. The website features bold, and funky headings that encompass the warm and friendly experience that you get in-store. We have ensured that the design is simple, and that customers can navigate the website is a way that flows. We recently introduced their Menu to the website which is a great addition, driving further traffic to the website which will have a direct impact on sales over a long period of time. The homepage includes the business’s reviews to show potential customers the quality of both the products but also the experience they will have. Our Design and Development combined with our Hosting and Domain services mean that the team at Shakie Jakes can login and edit their website at any point, giving them the flexibility over their brand, and website at any point.

The Impact

The website has seen exceptional performance increases over the COVID-19 Pandemic due to the increase in the use of Social Media and E-Commerce to sell physical products online. We observed a traffic increase of an average of 280% of both new and existing customers that were looking for a tasty snack to eat. Due to our SEO Optimisations, Shakie Jakes’ Website now ranks in the top three searches for ‘Shake Bar Saint Neots’. This increase, and ranking will over time have a direct impact on sales, due to the additional exposure of the brand to potential customers.
